Spice up your Desktops

Got some eyecandies here: (Windows)

If you would somehow like to improve your desktop's appearance and provided that you have spare system memory, you may use these enhancers so that you may use your computer in a fancy way:

Y'z Tools:

Y'z Shadow: Adds translucency and shadows to your windows.
Y'z Toolbar: Changes your toolbars to custom buttons like the Linux KDE or the Apple Mac.
RK Launcher: Similar to Apple Mac's Dock, a fancy bottom toolbar with nice animations (great graphics here, especially on a good video card with 64m mem+).

If you would like to have a replacement to your regular Start menu and taskbar replaced (kung gisumhan) you may want to try these excellent shell replacements:

GeoShell: provides bars separated into tray, task, and start menus, so that you can customize locations. (Hey, how about adding winamp controls beside the clock?)
BlackBox/bbLean/xoblite: Port from the Linux Blackbox Window Manager. Very lightweight and fast! (Loading time was actually half of that of MS Explorer.exe, based on experience). Can be customized with plugins, styles, and a lot more.

If you have seen the dashboard feature from the macintosh, you may want to try this:

dotWidget: adds "widgets" on to your desktop. Widgets are small applications that do small tasks such as displaying time, calendar, weather, news, etc. dotWidget is powered by the GDIplus library, and therefore is capable of using windows xp/2000's alpha methods (transparency and clarity, everyone!!!)

Gosh I wish I had enough time to post everything! There are a lot of eyecandies out there, so just browse and enjoy!!!

BTW, eyecandies: eye + candy. pampatam-is ug pampalingaw sa mata.

Intelligent Stick

Yesterday (Aug14) I bought a 1gb flash disk from CDrKing. I made sure this was PQI, because I have trusted the brand since then. I bought an intelligent stick with a usb adaptor. Nice, because I had a tiny card inserted into an adaptor that looked cool. (the adaptor was transparent.)

Just this evening, I read through articles on the net about intelligent sticks. When I jumped into one article, I unexpectedly found this picture...

SHOCKS OF MY LIFE! I could plug this nifty little card directly into the USB! And I thought I wouldnt be so cool having the "tabachoy" adaptor and all.... whew man! Im trying it now and it does work!!! Yeah i'm loving it!!!!

But Im gonna take precautions anyway. Ill continue using the adaptor to take care of the card.... safe play.

Thinnest (So far) from PQI

I must say guyz... WOW grabe ka nipis!!!

I checked out the PQI site (pqimemory.com) and found this very interesting new product:
